How we help

In complex, dynamic and interdependent environments, you need a strong level of health and safety capability to be productive, progressive and protected.

To understand your current level of health and safety capability, we perform a deep dive review across the core structures in our Health and Safety Capability Model, which are the foundation of health and safety capability.

Systems, Customs, People

Our Health and Safety Capability Model has nine elements, which fit together like a puzzle.

Pivotal to fr&nk's science-based approach is the empirical research evidence associated with the Safety Capability Project undertaken by the Office of Industrial Relations (OIR) in collaboration with Griffith University, University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology and Curtin University.

Measuring health and safety capability enables the identification of tangible areas of improvement, when there is a better understanding of:

  • The level of capability, competency, capacity and motivation of the workforce.

  • The systems and organisational structures by which health and safety is managed.

  • Relationships and practices that enable consultation, communication and collaboration.

  • Formal structures of accountabilities and responsibilities.

  • Use of technology to support management systems and continuous improvement.

When systems and customs and people are strong, anything is possible.
